2. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF PARTICIPATION AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, hereby give consent for my child to participate in the Hungarian Enrichment Program (the “Program”), conducted by Kids Actually in partnership with CEEC and Hunnora, and held at facilities rented from Astor International School (the “Venue”).

I understand and accept that the Program involves a variety of activities, including but not limited to classroom-based learning, arts and crafts (which may involve the use of scissors or sharp objects), outdoor physical games and play, and occasional events where food from external vendors may be provided.

I acknowledge that while reasonable care is taken by the organizers to ensure a safe and supportive environment, there are inherent risks associated with such activities. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child.

3. MEDICAL RELEASE

In the event of illness, accident, or emergency, I authorize the Program staff to administer appropriate first aid or to seek medical attention for my child. I agree to bear full responsibility for any medical costs incurred and release the organizers and their partners from any liability relating to such medical decisions or actions taken in good faith.

4. MEDIA CONSENT

Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the Program for educational and promotional purposes, and consent will be collected during the online registration process about the following:

-  I consent to images/videos of my child being shared within closed, private groups (e.g., a WhatsApp group for enrolled families).
- I consent / do not consent (please circle one) to public sharing of my child’s images/videos on social media or marketing materials.

I understand that declining public sharing will not affect my child’s participation in the Program.

5. WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I fully understand and agree that:

- Neither Kids Actually, CEEC, Hunnora, their staff, volunteers, contractors, nor the Venue shall be responsible or liable for any personal injury suffered by my child, nor for any loss or damage to property belonging to my child or our family, whether occurring on the Venue’s premises, in transit to or from the Program, or during Program-related outings, physical activity, or events.

- I agree to release and indemnify the Program organizers, their partners, and the Venue from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, or demands arising out of my child’s participation in the Program.

6. FEES AND ATTENDANCE POLICY

- I acknowledge that Program fees are non-refundable, regardless of attendance or participation.
- I understand that no compensation, refund, or credit will be provided for missed sessions, regardless of reason.

 

7. PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF POLICY

- Children must be dropped off and picked up in the Lobby of the building, on level 1, not inside the School’s space, with the parent/guardian signing the attendance sheet at both points. Exception is given to parents of children from the Green group (2-4 year olds), provided that the parent will accompany and supervise their children throughout the session.

- Parents will wait with their children for the heads of each learning group to collect them at 9.25AM from the Lobby after checking that the attendance sheet was signed. Program starts at 9.30AM sharply.

- The Program ends at 12:15 PM when the children can be collected from the Lobby. A 5-minute grace period will be given.

- After 12:20 PM, a late pickup fee of SGD $2 per minute will apply, which needs to be paid on the spot, in cash to the Program staff who needed to wait with the child.

- If no pickup occurs within 30 minutes, the Program staff will leave the Venue with the child, and the parent/guardian will be required to collect the child from the provider at their discretion and convenience.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT

To maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all, we ask that parents/guardians and participants observe the following:

- Children are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, peers, and property.

- Parents/guardians must ensure their children are appropriately dressed for both indoor and outdoor activities.

- Parents/caregivers attending sessions must not disrupt the learning environment.

- Aggressive behavior, bullying, or repeated disruption may result in dismissal from the Program without refund.

- All food allergies or medical concerns must be declared in writing prior to participation.

9. AGREEMENT

By marking checked the Consent Confirmation Checkbox on the online booking system I confirm that I have read, understood and  agree to the Hungarian Enrichment Program’s online Liability Waiver, including the Consent, Pick-up/Drop-off Policy, and Code of Conduct. I confirm that I agree to all of the above on behalf of myself and my child.
